Terms of Service

Who we are

ClergyCompass is a small, independent service built and maintained by ClergyCompass (not incorporated). The service helps clergy track time off, continuing education, and accomplishments.

Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and any users you invite to your account.

Your content

• You retain ownership of the data you enter (for example: time off entries, continuing education logs, and accomplishments).
• You grant ClergyCompass permission to store and process that data so the app can function (including generating reports).

Diocesan access (optional)

If you choose to share reports or exports with your diocese, you authorize ClergyCompass to provide those reports/exports to the diocesan administrators you select. ClergyCompass does not share or sell your data to third parties.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to access data that is not yours.
• Do not disrupt the service (for example: probing, scraping, or attempting to overload the application).
• Do not upload illegal content.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep the service running, but it is provided “as-is” without warranties. Features may change over time.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ClergyCompass will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of the service.
